- (noun): The wife of Baby J
- (verb): A play on Kristi’s mother ‘s name – Joyce, lovingly called Miss Joycie by her daycare kids, who is now in heaven after fighting ovarian cancer for a short time. There is not a day that goes by since that sad day in March of 2012 that we do not “miss j”.
Miss Jay’s Market is the creation of Kristi Joyner, a long-time lover and curator of vintage goods. Miss Jay’s Market will feature hand-crafted and new home decor items in addition to all of the vintage goods hand-picked and loved by Kristi.
Currently, Miss Jay’s goods can be found at Town Square Antique Mall in Douglas, GA under her Great-Grandmother Mary Olive’s name – tagged MOV. Also, Miss Jay’s Market will be doing several pop-up shops in the area.
Down the road, the plans are for Miss Jay’s Market to open a retail space in downtown Pearson, GA that is currently being renovated and prepped for a grand opening as soon as Mr. Joyner’s (aka “Baby J”) schedule slows down for assistance. In addition to the retail space, an online store will open that will give Miss Jay’s Market’s customers the chance to shop the Miss Jay’s retail space goods online.
Kristi & Baby J both enjoy cruising and road trips that involve antique & vintage picking, unique mom & pop businesses, and local food stops.
